The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider class is for healthcare providers or first responders who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. The BLS Class is immediately followed by the AHA's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider class that is also for healthcare providers who direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Before taking the ACLS course, students must pass the online ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment with a score of 70% or higher. If you have not taken an ACLS class previously, or have an expired certification, this is the class you need.
